Join Heaton Mersey Village Conservation Group and Elise Van Meerssche, The Jolly Upcycler on Sunday 22 March 2026 from 11:00am for a relaxed and friendly Foraging Workshop in Heaton Mersey Park!
We’ll start with a guided wander through the park, discovering what’s growing right on our doorstep and learning how to forage responsibly and safely. It’s a brilliant way to see your neighbourhood with fresh eyes, connect with nature and meet lovely local people along the way.
Afterwards, we’ll head over to The Griffin Hotel where we’ll use their meeting space and turn our foraged finds into something creative and crafty to take home.
Open to everyone – families very welcome!
(Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.)
Expect fresh air, good company, a bit of creativity and plenty of community spirit. Light refreshments are included to keep us going.
There’s just a £5 refundable deposit per person to secure your place (returned on attendance).
Come and discover what’s growing in your neighbourhood, try something new and spend your Sunday doing something a little different.
Spaces are limited – book link in the comments!
