Explore using layers of charcoal on pastel paper to create dramatic artwork with depth, texture and detail.
You will ‘draw with light’ before adding charcoal pencil, developing a technique that can be used from
landscapes and trees to buildings and stone work.

Paper - white Clairefontaine Pastelmat; minimum size 30x40cm; available for purchase at the sessions

White Mars plastic eraser
Electric eraser
Wolff's Carbon pencil set
Kitchen Roll
Reference photos - a range of photos will also be available at the sessions
