Events in Stockholm

Another great destination for vacationing is the Scandinavian city of Stockholm known for its beauty and festivities. Gamla Stan is a beautiful part of the city situated on one of the many interconnected island, is known for its cafes and restaurants and has beautiful architecture. If you want to get a nice view of the whole city, visit the Observatorielunden which is a Park situated on the top of a hill. Skansen, the world's first open air museum, is located in this city where you can stroll through five centuries of the history of Spain. Next are the Rosendals Trägård (Rosendal's Garden) which presents organic garden cultivation and the City Hall with its interestingly architectured building. Some of the festivals held in the city are Nationaldag (National Day), Midsommarafton (Midsummer Eve), Stockholm Pride Week, Luciadagen (Lucia Day), and Valborgsmässoafton (Walpurgis Night). So blend in with the Sweddish people and get a flavor of this awesome city.
