???? ????????? is a study circle consisting of workshops, reading sessions and performative presentations diving into questions on dancing with chronic illness. The program is based on on knowledge from movement practitioners with unapparent disabilities, those which are not visible to an unknowing eye. Together we wish to create a space for queer and decolonial intersections through dance. 

???? ????????? is centering persons living with chronic illness and invites them as well as the general public to reflect on structural accessibility, unapparent disability justice and challenge ideas of an ideal dancer's body that are still haunting the field of dance and choreography.

- WHO AND HOW
???? ????????? is initiated by Ar Utke Ács and will be co-facilitated with Nasim Aghili, Adam Seid Tahir, Mariana Suikkanen Gomes and Joella Kalala (more TBA). During these sessions, the participants will do movement practices, take part in facilitated discussions and read texts written by disabled artists, scholars and writers. Perhaps even a communal meal.
Please note that it is an open study circle, which means you don’t have to prepare anything before arrival. All texts we read, we read together.


- WHEN
The sessions will take place six times during the autumn as a part of MDT’s public program and every second session will be separatist to people with disabilities. Each session will run for 3 hours (13:00–16:00). Some dates are open for all, while others are separatist spaces. Capacity is limited to 20 participants, so sign-up is required. On days when a study circle coincides with a ????? performance, 5 tickets will be reserved for participants.

- ACCESSIBILITY INFORMATION
We strive towards learning together in a time and with conditions that meets our bodies rather than the other way around. However, sometimes these needs are multidimensional and even contradicting, so we take this negotiation as a part of the learning we will all take part of too. The studio is barrierfree and placed in the cellar where it can be accessed either by three steps down or with the elevator. There is a wheelchair accessible bathroom on the ground floor. At times, we might be accompanied by a dog so please let us know in advance if you have an allergy, so she can have another place to be during the time. And let us know if you have any other allergies, you want us to be aware of in order to share the space (fx nuts, scents).
