We have had the privilege of sharing so many beautiful evenings together — stories of unexpected humour, adventurous travels, shocks of culture, daring loves, sweet friendships, diverse experiences, and surprising revelations.
But what if we gathered to experience the stories of the night? There’s something about night that changes the way stories are told.
The hustle and bustle of the city slows into quietness. Shadows stretch, sounds sharpen, and the smallest flicker of light feels warmer. Words seem to travel further. Darkness wraps us in a cozy blanket, and every soft word becomes a secret shared only between those still awake.
Night frees the imagination — it blurs the edges of reality and invites us to wander into places we might not go in daylight. In the magic of night, every story feels just a little more alive.
I have spent sleepless nights with friends and strangers, listening to tales of myths and legends, ghosts and magic, life and death, illusion and reality.
We would like to extend the warmest invitation to meet at an old theatre near Odenplan — Pygméteatern.
It will be a relaxed, open space where everyone is welcome — whether you wish to share a personal story from your life or an intriguing tale you’ve read or heard.
If you’d rather just listen, you’re welcome too.
The event is free as always and will start at 21:00, with doors opening at 20:45.
Added Note:
We are co-hosting this event with our friends at PushPlayTheatre and If you love improvisational theatre, you might want to check out
https://www.facebook.com/events/1456923262298161 for an amazing improv show happening just before our storytelling event, in the same theatre. But this would require a separate ticket. So check their page for more info if you are interested.
