AN INTIMATE CRUISE DEDICATED TO MONDAY BAR FAMILY
Our plan was one big cruise every year. But then we got the opportunity to organise a cruise on M/S Birka Gotland, one of the finest, but not biggest cruise liners on the Baltic Sea. She was decommissioned in 2020 at the beginning of covid, and was held in port at Mariehamn until Gotlandsbolaget and Viking Line decided to take her over as a joint venture last year. And after two successful cruises with Viking Cinderella we have been welcomed back.
M/S Birka Gotland is a pure cruise ship with no car deck, and her regular route is Stockholm-Mariehamn, but can also go to other destinations, such as Visby Gotland, especially during summer. But for us, we will this time make a shorter 21hr trip to Mariehamn, Åland. Many of our guests have requested that we also do shorter, one-day cruises, such as parents who can have a hard time to be away longer.
So we went on a cruise to see if there had been any changes since we last saw her, more than 5 years ago. And to our great surprise the ship is now even better after millions have been spent on renovation. Do you remember the spectacular car deck floor on Cinderella? Well, Birka Gotland has it’s own unique floor, the terrace with a detachable glass roof, perfect for dancing under the stars.
LINEUP
An impressive lineup will be announced weekly. A mix of trance, techno, psy, hardstyle, hard-dance and crossover styles on 3 different floors with a massive production. Follow the lineup updates on our homepage:

FILL A 4-PERSON STANDARD CABIN
Since this is a smaller ship with about half the capacity of our last cruise we need to adapt our budget a bit. It also means that all cabins need to be filled to the max to make this work. So when the cabins are released on May 26, make sure that you have enough friends to fill a 4 person cabin (3 minimum). There are a few 2 person cabins too, but not that many, and mostly more expensive luxury ones.
