Xiao, Qingyun och JC håller den intensiva tvådagarsworkshopen Flip the Role, för dig som är van vid en roll och vill prova den andra. Fokus ligger på att lära den nya rollen från nybörjarnivå till mellannivå i ett snabbare tempo än vanliga kurser.

Want to dance Balboa in whichever role you like, with more people in the community? Curious how the dance feels from the other side? Or how adding more freedom may change your dancing entirely? Xiao, Qingyun, and JC, will lead an intensive two-day workshop “Flip the Role”, for Balboa dancers who have been dancing in one role and want to explore the other. The workshop focuses on learning the new role, with occasionally switching, guiding you from beginner level to intermediate level at a faster pace.

Dates: Saturdays, March 21 & March 28, 2026

Price: 900 SEK for SSS members, 1100 SEK for non-members.

Note: This workshop is designed as a two-day progression from fundamentals to intermediate level. For the best learning experience, we strongly recommend attending both days. If you are unable to attend both days, you are welcome to join on the first day, but the second day cannot be attended on its own.

This workshop is for you if you
•Have taken level 2 classes or feel ready for that level (in your usual role) and want to try the other role (your new role).
•Want to learn the new role faster than in regular beginner classes, since you already have some Balboa knowledge.

•Bal-Swing fundamentals
•Mixing Pure-Bal and Bal-Swing
•Switching between roles (leading and following)
