Vi, Empress Emerald och Iris Florentina, firar 4 år som bästisar och för att fira vår vänskap har vi bjudit in fler vänner, gamla och sprillans nya, till en Friendship Celebration and Charity Show! 

Många av våra artister är också våra vänner och burlesksyskon! Vissa av oss har tagit våra första stapplande burlesksteg tillsammans, uppträtt tillsammans, producerat tillsammans eller till och med gått i skolan tillsammans. Vi har varit del av varandras resa i både skratt och gråt och framförallt glitter! Denna kväll vill vi också knyta nya vänskaper så vi har bjudit in två nya stjärnor!

Kom och se burlesk och drag i glatt och mysigt sällskap!

- Showen kommer vara i en källare som nås via en trappa.

- Toaletter finns i anslutning till lokalen. Dom är inte tillgänglighetsanpassade.
- Lokalen ligger ca 3 kvarter från tunnelbanestationen Gamla stan. Gatorna är kullerstensbelagda.

❤️‍🔥 OM BURNOUT BURLESQUE
Många artister, precis som vi, har kroniska besvär, är neurospicy, har begränsad ekonomi, lever med olika hälsosvårigheter eller har livssituationer som gör det svårare att skapa och uppträda med scenkonst. Vi vill lyfta de artisterna och skapa ett sammanhang där pressen är låg och där en kan göra saker som känns roliga, utan att behöva lägga massor av pengar och tid.


❤️‍🔥 OM FRIENDS
Friends är en icke vinstdrivande barnrättsorganisation som arbetar för att varje barn ska få växa upp utan mobbning. Deras arbete fokuserar på att engagera barn, vuxna, skolor och idrottsföreningar i kampen mot mobbning. Friends anser att vi bara tillsammans kan bygga ett tryggare samhälle där ökad förståelse och respekt för varandras olikheter och förmågor är utgångspunkten. 

Precis som vi i Burnout Burlesque vill skapa en trygg plats för vuxna artister där vi tillåts vara olika vill vi bidra till att även unga får känna den tryggheten.

A WARM, SPARKLY, AND GLOWING WELCOME TO BURNOUT BURLESQUE – THE FRIENDSHIP CELEBRATION!

We, Empress Emerald and Iris Florentina, are celebrating 4 years as best friends, and to mark our friendship we’ve invited more friends, old and brand new, to a Friendship Celebration and Charity Show!

Many of our performers are also our friends and burlesque siblings! Some of us have taken our very first wobbly burlesque steps together, have performed together, produced together, or even gone to school together. We’ve been part of each other’s journeys through laughter, tears, and above all glitter! This evening we also want to form new friendships, so we’ve invited two new stars!

You choose how much you want to donate.

❤️‍🔥 ACCESSIBILITY
- The show will take place in a basement, accessed via stairs.
- There will be both standing and seating options. Please get in touch if you need a seat for accessibility reasons.
- Restrooms are located adjacent to the room the show is in. They are not accessibility restrooms.
- The venue is located about 3 blocks from the Gamla stan metro station. The streets are cobblestoned.
- The show will be in English.

❤️‍🔥 ABOUT BURNOUT BURLESQUE
Many performers, like us, are chronics, neurospicy, have limited funds, are affected by different health issues or in other ways have life situations which makes it more challenging to create and perform stage arts. We want to lift those performers and create a space where they can feel low pressure and also do things that feel fun without having to spend tons of money and time.


❤️‍🔥 ABOUT FRIENDS
Friends is a non-profit children’s rights organization working to ensure that every child grows up free from bullying. Their work focuses on engaging children, adults, schools, and sports clubs in the fight against bullying. Friends believe that only together can we build a safer society, one rooted in greater understanding and respect for each other’s differences and abilities.

Just as we in Burnout Burlesque want to create a safe space for grownup performers where we are allowed to be different, we also want to help ensure that young people can feel that same safety.
