The one where we coped and coped and coped…until we couldn't. Jools Drybrough knows hers well - she also knows what brought her back. Spoiler: it wasn't running, or therapy, or a life overhaul... What rebuilt her wasn't willpower or wellness,  it was writing. Raw, unedited, nobody-else-needs-to-see-this writing. This is a talk about what happens when the story you've been telling about yourself stops working and what happens if you are up for writing a new narrative. Jools is an Edinburgh-based organisational consultant, coach, facilitator and writer. In 2020 she founded Write Nights - an online writing community for people who want to create, share and feel more connected to themselves and the page.Plus there will be our usual mix of singing great songs together with the house band, reflections, chats, tea and cake and community all in a non-religious setting.
