All welcome, WWRF participants as well as any runner looking for a leisurely Sunday morning run.
Starting at WWRF Ultra Route Stage 3 Stirling High School (both 50K and 70K routes) we will head towards Stage 4 Kildean Forth Valley College Hub (Drip Road, Stirling, FK8 1RW) (What 3 Words Link:
https://w3w.co/arching.shadowing.risen- distance 5.5 miles (8.5K)
This will follow the actual Ultra route taking in King’s Park, Back Walk, up towards Stirling Castle, Mote Hill Beheading Stone, Stirling Bridge, Kildean College Hub.
We will then head back towards Stirling High School running past the wonderful lower view of Stirling Castle and through King’s Park finishing at Stirling High School - this 2nd section of our route will be 3.25 miles (just over 5K)
Don’t worry that this run is only 1 week away from race weekend as this will be a leisurely run taking in some of Stirling’s historical attractions that you will pass on race day as well as learning about some of the route.
We will stop at various points at King’s Park trail, Back Walk, Stirling Castle, Mote Hill, Stirling Bridge, Kildean as well as any other necessary point to take in the views as well as to allow anyone to catch up after the uphills - although we plan to all stick together.
This run is not organised by WWRF, it is a social run and anyone participating do so at their own risk.
Let's all catch up 1 weekend out from race day and start the excitement early.
Let us know if you can join us.
