With studios closed, I invested in a set of silent disco headsets and invited people to gather with me in the forest by the ocean on Salt Spring Island, BC Canada to spend a full day in nature: dancing and being together. Salt Spring proved to be the perfect home for UNTAMED: wild, lush, and led by the land itself. In this place where nature is dominant, participants were supported to reconnect with their own untamed nature, with the earth and the dance as an active allies in the experience. I continued offering these daylong UNTAMED workshops, and in 2021 I hosted the first UNTAMED catered campout. Each summer since, multiple campouts have sold out, and now a growing dream to bring UNTAMED into other powerful landscapes is happening.
