Seascape Masterclass Demonstration, with Trevor Newman

$45 Leading oil painter, Trevor Newman, will demonstrate his process from beginning sketch to near completion of a seascape that expresses movement and drama through color, brushwork, and composition. Trevor will guide viewers through his techniques for capturing the dynamic energy of the ocean — from the initial layout and underpainting to the layering of vibrant tones and textures that bring the scene to life. This demonstration offers a rare opportunity to observe the decisions and methods of a leading contemporary oil painter as he translates emotion and motion onto the canvas. He'll talk you through the techniques as he works and he's open to questions throughout the afternoon. Bring a pen and notebook!
