Looking for a fun, creative weekend activity for your child? Join us at Bridgewater Hall for a colourful afternoon of painting, imagination and local wildlife inspiration!

In this hands-on workshop, young artists aged 6–12 will be guided step-by-step to create their very own painting of a bird found right here in the beautiful Adelaide Hills. With plenty of room for creative flair, kids will explore colour, texture and design while learning about the amazing wildlife in our local environment. The workshop will be led by local artist and recent Adelaide College of the Arts graduate Bella Gazard, who will support and encourage each participant to create an artwork they’ll be proud of!

By combining art and environmental learning, this workshop nurtures creativity, builds community connection, and encourages appreciation of the natural world around us.

Spaces are strictly limited to 25 participants — bookings essential!

Things to know:

• All materials provided

• Parents/caregivers are required to stay and supervise

• Please wear studio-friendly clothes and bring an apron if you have one (we’ll be using paint!)

• Selected artworks may be displayed in a public space in Bridgewater at a later date (details shared during the workshop)
