𝐎𝐮𝐫 𝐀𝐮𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐫𝐬
𝐊𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐅𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 worked as a national newspaper journalist for more than twenty years before becoming an author. Growing up in Edinburgh, she became fascinated by its history and often uses it as inspiration for her stories. Her previous novels include the The King’s Witches and the remarkable The Maiden, which won the Bloody Scotland Crime Debut of the Year and was longlisted for the Women’s Prize for Fiction. The Mourning Necklace is her third novel. She lives in Edinburgh with her two children.
𝐃𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐝 𝐆𝐨𝐨𝐝𝐦𝐚𝐧 is an award-winning novelist and short fiction author. David writes thrillers and science fiction and his ingenious, award-winning novel A Reluctant Spy is shortlisted for the Bloody Scotland debut prize.
𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐓𝐨𝐝𝐝, before becoming an author, worked as a lecturer, candle-maker and hotel lounge pianist - a job which provided rich material for her novels! Her thrilling DI Clare Mackay series has sold over half a million copies.

Denny Library is lovely, modern, accessible library in the centre of Denny town. There is a large car park. Buses from Falkirk, Glasgow and Stirling all stop seconds from the library.
