About the event

Blackwood Christmas Pageant & Fair

A beloved local tradition for more than 60 years, the Blackwood Christmas Pageant returns to Main Road with 55 colourful floats, live entertainment and plenty of festive cheer.

The parade begins at Gulfview Road and travels along Main Road to Waite Street Reserve, where Father Christmas will meet children and pose for photos. The Rotary Club of Coromandel Valley’s Christmas Fair at the reserve will feature market stalls, food, children’s activities and live music.

Supported by the City of Mitcham and run by the Lions Club of Blackwood and the Office of Catherine Hutchesson MP, this event captures the heart of community Christmas in the hills.
