A terrible water shortage in a land not so far away has made private bathrooms unthinkable. The citizens must pay a greedy corporation for the privilege to use the public facilities. Those who can't are sent to a mysterious, dreaded place where no one ever returns.

But when a brave young hero rises up to challenge the rules, a hilarious and heartfelt revolution begins that flushes all expectations down the drain.

This wickedly funny, Tony Award-winning satire is equally absurd and eerily relevant. Full of sharp humor, surprising heart, and a narrator who knows too much, this is not your average fairy tale—but it might just be your new favorite.
