About the event

Tea Talks at the Historic Courthouse
Enjoy tea and pastries while hearing from Dave Brandt, Geospatial Systems Architect for Washington County, as he shares the important work of the Mapping Prejudice Project in Minnesota. This groundbreaking initiative seeks to uncover and document properties and homes with racial covenants—historic clauses in property deeds that excluded minority communities from owning or occupying certain land. Through maps and stories, Dave will illustrate how this history continues to shape our communities today and how understanding it can help foster a more inclusive future.

Cost: $15 per person. Register online: https://washcoparks.usedirect.com/WashCoWeb/Activities/Search.aspx
