Austria 3 – jene Formation, die bis heute Gold- und Platinstandard österreichischer Popmusik definiert: Wolfgang Ambros, Georg Danzer und Rainhard Fendrich gemeinsam auf der Bühne. Ihr Standbein bei diesem Erfolgsprojekt waren ihre Songs – längst ein Teil österreichischer Identität, nicht selten inoffizielle Nationalhymnen. Ihr Spielbein und unverzichtbares Fundament war die Band hinter ihnen: Ulli Bäer, Gary Lux, Harald Fendrich und Harry Stampfer.

Und diese Vier sind WIR4. Als Musiker, Texter, Produzenten und Arrangeure prägten und prägen sie die österreichische Musikszene entscheidend mit: als Partner von Größen wie Falco, Gert Steinbäcker, Georg Danzer und Wolfgang Ambros bis hin zur legendären Austria 3.

Seit 2012 sind sie unter euphorischem Applaus des Publikums als WIR4 mit  ihrem neuen Programm „Das Beste von Austria 3“ unterwegs.
Ihre unvergesslichen Hits wie "I am from Austria", "Da Hofa" oder "Jö Schau" halten "Für immer Jung" und erleben gerade so etwas wie eine Wiederauferstehung, aber nicht am "Zentralfriedhof" sondern vor allem live auf der Bühne!

WIR4plusEINS

Womit wir bei Wolfgang Ambros wären. Vater des Austropop, lebende Musiklegende,  “der“ Ambros – man muss den Ehrentiteln längst nichts mehr hinzufügen. Seit 1971 füllt er mit seiner No. 1 vom Wienerwald Konzerthallen und Open-Air-Arenen.

Wolfgang Ambros und WIR4 hatten Lust, wieder gemeinsam zu spielen. Und das tun sie wieder seit 2018. Unter der Tagline WIR4plusEINS, befeuern sie, was sie als Protagonisten von Austria 3 entfacht haben: die Quintessenz des Austropop – live!
