Queen Anne’s County, in partnership with the Baltimore Metropolitan Council, will host a public meeting on Thursday, October 23, 2025, to present the proposed options from the US 50/301 Pedestrian Overpass Feasibility Study. The meeting will begin at 6:00pm at Queen Anne’s County Library – Kent Island Branch, located at 200 Library Circle, Stevensville, MD 21666.
The study explores options for a safe and accessible bicycle and pedestrian crossing over the US 50/301 corridor, aiming to connect the existing Cross Island Trail with the South Island Trail. Several options will be presented during the meeting, and community members are encouraged to attend and share their feedback.
Public input is a vital part of the planning process. Comments may be submitted in the following ways:
