The 8 Ohms Band hails from Annapolis, Maryland and has a powerhouse lineup of players from all over the DC metro area. Bringing heaping doses of Horn Heavy Funk. Drawing from diverse musical backgrounds, The 8 Ohms are known for blurring the lines between hard groove, funk, soul, reggae and a slight taste of DC's own go-go music. Regardless of the music, the energy is undeniable & the 8 Ohms are masters at keeping the dance floor moving! The 8 Ohms Band has been honing their style since 2007. - Multi award winners: 2024 Md Music Award,  2024, 2023, 2022 Rammie Award,  2021 Wammie Award.
Having backed up or supported some the biggest names on the some of the most biggest stages to come through the DMV, The 8 Ohms Band name has been directly associated to some of the best in the business! 

Dave Tieff
Lead singer of the legendary Laughing Colors  & a local favorite performer at Cult Classic . Dave will be joining the 8 Ohms Band on guest Vocals 

The G Method
A perfect blend of all styles ranging from soul to metal, filled with funky grooves, powerful vocals, and dynamic melodies.Led by Guthrie Matthews on Vocals & Guitar, Chris Dorr- drums & Jesse Masone-  Bass. 

Both groups will be jumping on each others sets to make this night even funkier!

Get here early. Cult Classic Brewing Company is your new spot for cold drinks, fresh food and good times. We've got 15+ beers brewed in house on tap, fresh handmade pizzas with from-scratch dough, hand-pattied burgers, jumbo wings, pub fare and more.

Reserved Seating is $20 

Doors open at 7:00pm
Show starts at 7:30pm

Pups are allowed on our patio, but not within the building.
