2025 Charity Readathon - Supporting Stevens Point Community Outreach

Read books and do something good for your community while you're at it - what better way to spend a night!

Join the booksellers at Bound to Happen Books for our inaugural Readathon in support of Stevens Point Community Outreach, the new organization running this winter's Warming Shelter and providing other resources and services necessary for our local unhoused to survive and thrive. This is a giant task, and we need to support them in doing so!

We are donating $10 for every 50 pages read during our Readathon, and are actively seeking other community sponsors who want to help match this donation. Anything from $1 to a complete $10 matching donation for every 50 pages read would go a long way for SPCO: please reach out the Bookstore if you want to pledge any matching donation.

If you want to participate as a reader, all you need to do is come to the bookstore any time from 9 pm and 2 am and read. All ages are welcome! Bring your own book or maybe pick one up while you're here. We're going to have tons of great sales going on so you can get some holiday shopping done while you're at it. Stay tuned for more deets.
