🎙️ Your MC – Martin Westgate
Martin Westgate is fast becoming a staple of the East Anglian comedy scene and beyond. An accomplished MC and performer, Martin is making waves on the national circuit, gigging for some of the most recognised promoters in the country.
Martin approaches gigs the way he approaches life — wittily, with jokes, and quickly. He brilliantly rinsed David Walliams on Britain’s Got Talent and is always ready to step away from the script to deal with an audience when needed. A proud Norfolk boy flying the flag for Nelson’s County (even in strong winds — he’s got the grip strength!).
Martin is one of the go-to acts in Norfolk, resident MC of Hooma Comedy Club, and has written and performed for the BBC New Comedy Show. He also hosts the Sense of Hooma Podcast and online show Sunday Roast, and has supported Gary Meikle and Carl Hutchinson on their Norwich tour dates.

Roger Monkhouse is one of the most original and distinctive acts on the UK comedy scene — a consummate stand-up who blends charm and menace to command any stage. His trademark prowling style, sharp wit, and eloquent delivery have made him one of the most sought-after names in comedy.
Roger’s credits include The Comedy Store, The World Stands Up (Paramount), My God I’m My Dad (Bravo), and Street Cred Sudoku (UKG2). He’s also a regular writer for Channel 4’s 8 Out of 10 Cats and a member of the Cutting Edge team at London’s Comedy Store.
Performing across the UK and internationally — from Belgium and South Africa to Singapore and Tokyo — Roger delivers comedy that’s intelligent, relevant, and always razor-sharp.
🎵 Headlining Act – Ashley Frieze
With his charming, daft, and warm brand of music-infused stand-up, Ashley Frieze has been entertaining audiences across the UK for over 20 years.
Armed with original songs, clever lyrics, and catchy tunes spanning genres from jazz to Coldplay, Ashley delivers a show that’s intelligent, geeky, silly, and occasionally naughty — always playful, never rude!
A regular headliner nationwide, Ashley has performed everywhere from festival stages to theatres — and even a moving bus! His Edinburgh Fringe shows The Seven Deadly Sings and Discograffiti led to two albums now streaming everywhere.
A true musical theatre lover, he’s also appeared in The Producers, My Fair Lady, A Little Night Music, and Guys and Dolls, as well as co-writing and starring in The Musical! at the Edinburgh Fringe 2004.
