Lister Abseil

Come join us for an exciting, adrenaline-pumping experience at Lister Hospital! Our annual abseiling event is back, and due to phenomenal demand... we’re hosting a 2-day event! Whether you're a seasoned pro or a first-timer, this year’s Lister Abseil is your chance to test yourself while raising vital funds for your local hospital.

Don't miss out on this opportunity to have an unforgettable time and make a difference! Don't worry, you'll receive training from the experts on the day!

We will have food, refreshments and music so bring plenty of people along to watch you complete this brave feat.

All participants will get a free charity T-shirt and certificate after completing the challenge as well as souvenir photos to share with friends and family.

We ask that all participants aim to raise £200 in addition to their entry fee. If there is a specific hospital, ward or area of the hospital that you are passionate about helping we can ensure your funds make a difference there.

Over the last 3 years, our abseillers have raised over £150,000 for a variety of departments and areas of our hospital. The charity team will once again be on hand to support you with your fundraising by providing a fundraising pack, posters, collection tins/buckets and any other help you need in the run up to the big day.

Please note: Participants must be 18+ but there's no upper age limit. The weight limit is 110kg but you just must be in good general health, with a reasonable fitness level before taking part. Please read the event terms and conditions by clicking here.

Time slots will be between 10am and 4pm and will be allocated 2 weeks prior to the event.
