🎶 Mary L Smith, Emily Kaufman, Jennifer Linn-Leaf, and Nita Gillham first appeared as a guest piano quartet with Sterling‘s Master Chorale in 2019. Hailing from Denver, Sterling, Leadville, and Des Moines, these area women realized their common beginnings included taking piano lessons as young children and continuing with college degrees in Piano Performance, Piano Pedagogy, Earth Science, and Secondary Education. Jennifer even danced across Europe with Up With People!

🎹 Landing in Sterling, the quartet members have taught in area public schools and NJC, accompanied multiple soloists and groups, developed private piano instruction studios, and played in area churches as well as recitals and First Friday events.

🎼 From more than 300 years of repertoire, The Ivory League has chosen a variety of collaborative ensemble works.

The program will include:

“Over the Rainbow” from “The Wizard of Oz”
“You’ll Be Back” from “Hamilton”
“Waltz” - Faust
“Sleeping Beauty” - Tchaikovsky 
“Jesu, Joy of Man’s Desiring” - J.S. Bach
“Spirituals for Eight Hands” - Raney
“Wind Serenade” - Mozart……and More!
