- **Event Description**: Common Good Alliance October Forum
October 18, 2026
3:00 PM, First Church Parish Hall

Please plan to join us as we kick off this year’s round of Common Good Alliance activities. We’re starting on October 18 at 3:00 PM in the Parish Hall. This will follow the “Walk on the Wildside” scheduled right after our regular Sunday service.

Pastor Robin Bartlett and Associate Pastor DeShay Freemyer-Jackson will lead us in a forum focused on the topic of MORAL COURAGE. They will present us with a foundation to wrestle with this big idea and then help us engage in discussion to explore it in more depth. What does it mean to have moral courage? How can we build it for ourselves and strengthen it with our neighbors? What calls us to deploy moral courage now? What forms can that take in our individual and shared lives?

As always, we will have some tasty treats to enjoy while we reconnect and learn together. If you have something to bring to share that will make it even better. We’ll adjourn at 4:30, keeping our usual 90 minute format.

It will be so good to gather and start taking action to advance the common good as we try to help create heaven on earth NOW. See you there!!
