When it comes to recovery, there is no single “right way” to heal. At the October Macomb FAN Forum, Amy Brune—a 2013 treatment court graduate and current Recovery Community Coordinator at Face Addiction Now—will share how multiple pathways can strengthen recovery. Drawing on her journey from participant to leader, Amy will explain the value of offering diverse options like peer-led groups, art therapy, yoga, holistic practices, and community activities alongside traditional approaches. She will also discuss the role of recovery coaches, partnerships with local organizations, and strategies to expand recovery capital. Come explore how to find and embrace the recovery pathway that speaks to you. Refreshments will be served.
This is an open forum and all are welcome!
