Join us for a powerful and personal conversation at our June FAN Forum, featuring Sheldon Hill and his daughter Denesha. Sheldonโa father in recoveryโand Denesha will share their lived experiences navigating the challenges and complexities of substance use disorder within a family. Together, theyโll explore what it was like for Denesha to grow up with a parent struggling with addictionโfrom being raised by a grandparent, to learning about drugs in school while living that reality at home.
Theyโll also discuss how parenting classes and open communication helped rebuild their relationship and strengthen their bond. This honest and heartfelt forum will shed light on the family dynamics of recovery and the healing that can happen when people commit to growth and understanding. This is an open forum and all are welcome! Refreshments will be provided.
