Our July Macomb FAN Forum will focus on naloxone (NARCAN®)—the life-saving medication that can reverse an opioid overdose. Attendees will receive a brief training and leave with a free naloxone kit containing two doses of nasal spray NARCAN®. The forum will also cover recent trends in the drug supply and overdose rates, including a nationwide decline in overdose deaths and a concerning rise in stimulant-related fatalities.

In addition, we'll explore the positive impact of expanded naloxone access—like FAN’s RescueBoxes—and highlight why continuing these efforts is so critical. Presenters Marissa Engardio and Isabella Djokic from FAN’s Overdose Response & Education team will lead the discussion, and FAN Peer Recovery Coach Rick McGuffey will share how naloxone helped him save a life. Don’t miss this powerful and practical event—you could walk away ready to save someone’s life.
