🌊 PLACE Dialogues is happening on November 26! 🌊
Since 2018, PLACE Dialogues has brought together community leaders, entrepreneurs, policymakers, and academics to explore challenges and opportunities in community development — fostering collaboration and innovation across Newfoundland and Labrador.
This year, the event will be held virtually, allowing participants from all areas of the province to join the conversation. In addition, Mi’kmaw Cultural Foundation is proud to host one of the in-person Community Hub sites right here in Stephenville at 1 Washington Drive.
With the 2025 theme, “Seeing New in the Old, Through a Sea of Possibility,” this year’s dialogues will focus on the power of local assets and how communities navigate uncertainty through creativity, resilience, and imagination.
The PLACE Dialogues is powered by the Centre for Social Enterprise | Memorial University, with support from Municipalities Newfoundland and Labrador, Community Sector Council NL, Shorefast on Fogo Island, and the Centre for Regenerative Futures at the Peter B. Gustavson School of Business.
