Going Under is a gripping, ensemble-driven musical that pulls audiences into the raw, electric space between who we were and who we’re becoming. As a group of high school seniors race toward graduation—and the unknown beyond—it all comes to a screeching halt when they’re stranded on a subway car, suddenly disconnected from the world… and from their screens.

With nowhere to hide and no signal to save them, these students are forced to face each other—and the devastating tragedy that shattered their friendship four years earlier. Secrets surface. Masks fall. And the truth demands to be heard.

Performed by Nomad Stages’ Senior Triple Threat students, this touring production features a bold, contemporary score, emotionally charged storytelling, and powerhouse performances from a cast on the brink of adulthood—both onstage and off.
