We are shaped by early life experiences that provide a foundation for everything that comes later in life. As Dr. William Sutherland observed, “As the twig is bent, so the tree inclines”. This practical four-day workshop will equip Craniosacral practitioners to effectively work with pre-natal and birth dynamics in babies and adults, as well as mothers during pregnancy. We will take an in-depth look at birth patterns and explore the significance of early life experiences and their influence on how we function. Each lecture will have corresponding practical sessions that serve to enhance practical experience, skills and understanding whilst deepening our relationship to the Tide and restoring health. Open to all Craniosacral Therapists and Cranial Osteopaths.

Conception and fertility; learning ways to support fertility and pregnancy.
The significance of pre-natal dynamics and orienting to our blueprint and embryological imprints.
The inner embryo and inner baby.
Natural labour, birth ignition and health.
The mechanics and effects of both normal and abnormal deliveries on the newborn, including the effects of shock and trauma on both baby and mother.
Cranial molding and working with intraosseus birth patterns.
Bonding and attachment dynamics.
Relational skills within a family setting.
Umbillical dynamics and the first intake of breath.
The treatment of colic and feeding difficulties.

Michael Kern B.C.S.T., D.O., A.B.D., N.D. is a Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapist and Naturopath, who graduated from the College of Osteopaths in 1987. He has been teaching Craniosacral Therapy for 38 years and is a pioneering exponent of the biodynamic approach, running courses in the United Kingdom, Poland, Denmark, Germany, Ukraine, Russia, Sweden, Italy, Spain, Czech Republic and China. He is founder of the Craniosacral Therapy Educational Trust, and was a senior tutor for the College of Osteopaths, International Cranial Association, Centre for Professional Development in Osteopathy and University of Westminster. He also is co-founder of the Breath of Life Conferences, which are landmark events bringing together pioneers, authors and teachers in the fields of craniosacral therapy, science and spirituality, trauma, embodiment and allied practices.
