Engage Nova Scotia and the Canadian Index of Wellbeing are currently undertaking the largest Quality of Life population survey in North America, right here in Nova Scotia. This survey covers topics including health, affordability, public safety, access to recreation, experiences of loneliness and discrimination, community belonging, trust in institutions, and more.
In Pictou County, these topics are present around kitchen tables, in classroom conversations, among families, friends, and coworkers: “What does it mean to live in this place, at this time?”.
