Prerequisites:
Minimum age of 18
Red Cross Standard First Aid & CPR Level C certification or equivalent

 Certification:
3-year certification as Red Cross First Aid Instructor

Required Candidate Materials:

 • Fundamentals of Instruction – First Aid Programs (online component) 
• Fundamentals of Instruction – First Aid Programs (eBook) 
• Fundamentals of Instruction – First Aid Programs Workbook 
*Training Materials are provided as part of course fees

Step 1: Evaluate skills & check prerequisites 

Step 2: Fundamentals of Instruction 

	Online 8 hours  In-Class 14 hours 30 minutes

Step 3: Discipline specific classroom component 

         In-Class 14 hours 30 minutes

Step 4: Teaching Experience 

        Online ~ 45 minutes In-Class varies
Up to 3 attempts allowed
Teaching experience can be done by us or another Canadian Red Cross TES.

Course fees: $1,100.00 plus GST
