Ski with a Naturalist

Mere steps away from the top of the Gondola, join a Yampatika Naturalist on the green run “Why Not.” Depending on the day, you could see old bear dens and claw marks, porcupine hang-out spots, and snow cameras! Along the way, you’ll learn about elk, moose, and the colorful birds that call the Steamboat Ski Resort home.

Meet at the large trail map across from Thunderhead Lodge at the top of the “Why Not” run. Lift ticket NOT included, no rental equipment available.
