Miss Ruthie will teach students how to create a set of ceramic napkin rings and reusable place cards for your upcoming holiday dinner tablescape. Students will learn simple slab and stamping techniques, how to use a variety of clay tools, and gain an understanding of clay and its properties. Each student will make at least a set of 4 of each item - or more, if time allows - and glaze and decorate that night to be ready for a once-firing process. Students are encouraged to bring snacks, drinks, or whatever else needed to help you get comfortable and relaxed while making art.
