6 Week Historical Coil Pot

Ages 16+
This is a 6 week class held on Mondays (April 13- May 18)

Build your own historical coil pot over six weeks in a relaxed, creative studio setting!

In this class, students will learn how to recreate historical coil pots! The major techniques learned in this class will be coil building and sgraffito surface decoration. Students will pick out their own historical pottery to reference. From there, we will create a form to build with out of cardboard. Once our forms are finished being constructed, they will then learn the sgraffito technique for surface decoration.
