A Sneak Preview...
Once regarded as the most-accomplished dancer in all of Hawaii, Winnie Waheli's career ended two decades ago when one of her more strenuous moves produced a recurring medical problem that prevented her from ever competing again professionally. That's when she was hired by the Kikiwai Queen Hotel to organize and orchestrate the hula event. Last night’s dance contest went on, but someone must have taken exception to Winnie's overbearing antics. This morning, her lifeless body was found on the very beach where she had achieved both fame and fortune. Who would dare end the career of the maven of movement? Could someone have plotted the death of the darling of divatude? Or, was this just the result of a temper tantrum by a close associate? It would take a unique perspective and expert investigative skills to identify the guilty party.  Become an Investigator and help the Detective and the Charlotte Murder Mystery Company figure out "WHODUNIT"

Join us for a thrilling evening at the Hula and Homicide themed murder mystery dinner fundraiser, hosted by the Statesville Pride Alliance. Prepare for an unforgettable night filled with fun activities, delightful food, and an engaging show by the Charlotte Murder Mystery Company.
• Murder Mystery Show: Enjoy an interactive performance that will keep you guessing!
• Delicious Food: Savor a delectable menu created and catered to suit the evening by Statesville's famous restauranteurs Kelli Simko Walker and her husband Chef John Walker of their award winning Cafe220!!
• Menu Options for the evening: 
• First Course: Tropical Fruit Laden Garden Salad featuring fresh fruits along with your salad greens.
• Second Course Entrees, your choice of: Pulled pork, with BBQ or Polynesian Sauce, Hawaiian Chicken, and for the Vegetarians: Delicious creation by Cafe220!
• Sides: Steamed Rice and Roasted Vegetables
• Final Course Dessert: Pineapple Upside Down Cake or Banana Pudding 
• Interested in a Drink with Dinner: Beer and Wine ticket options are available, must be 21+, please bring your ID to the event.
• Silent Auction and Raffle: Bid on exciting items and experiences to support a great cause. Be sure to bring cash, check, or a card to participate.
• Photo Booth: Capture memories of the evening with our photographer. 

What to Wear
• Embrace the theme by wearing your best luau outfit. Get creative with tropical prints and vibrant colors to enhance the festive atmosphere! Straw hats, Hawaiian shirts, leis, and grass skirts are all welcome but not required. 
• If not wearing a costume, summer casual is best, shirts and shoes are required. 

Seating and Additional Details
• At the Statesville Civic Center, the event room doors will open at 6pm, seating will be assigned ahead of time, so please arrive at 6pm!
