On Saturday, December 13, the Statesboro Warhammer Club will be hosting a Warhammer The Old World Battle March Event!
There is no entry fee for this event.
Anyone is welcome, even if you have never played The Old World in your life. Just let me know ahead of time so you can borrow an army.
Armies will be 500 points with the following restrictions:
- You must include a character to be your General.
- Minimum 2 non-character units.
- No non-core unit may cost more than 25% of the total points.
- No Core unit may cost more than 35% of the total points.
- You may have ONE 1 per 1000 points unit in your army.
Victory Points changes in this format:
- Killing the General is 50 instead of 100.
- Each enemy standard is 25 instead of 50.
- Each objective you control on your turn: 10 VP.
- Objectives are controlled at 3″, and with Unit Strength 5 or higher.
Games will be played on a 44” x 30” board as recommended by GW.
Three objective markers will be evenly spaced along the board's midline.
Players are welcome to use the Renegade Pack found below when building their army if they wish, but they do not have to.

We will be handing out two prizes at this event.
1 Old World Unit Box of your choosing to a random participant who does not currently own an Old World army.
1 Old World Infantry Character box of your choosing to a random participant who already owns an Old World army.
SCHEDULE
Doors open at 9:30 am
First round 10:00 am
Second round 11:45 am
Break for lunch 1:30 pm
Third round 2:45 pm
Fourth round 4:30 pm
Hand out prizes around 6:00.
