From their inception, this quartet’s goal has been to use the musical gifts the Lord has given them in the best way they know how—to honor God, share the gospel message, witness to the lost and encourage the saved.

With 12 number one songs, multiple radio hits, and numerous industry accolades, this Dove Award-winning quartet has achieved legendary status. With number one songs in each of the past five decades and over 60 Singing News Fan Awards to their credit, their career continues to be one that is celebrated, respected, and relevant in today’s musical scene. Historically, they have introduced some of the most important songs to all of gospel music, including I’m Not Giving Up, It’s Still The Cross, When I Get Carried Away, and their signature song, Midnight Cry.  They had the number one radio chart single in 2019 as noted by Singing News Magazine, All My Hope.  In 2017, Gold City was inducted into the Gospel Music Association Hall of Fame, forever solidifying what thousands of loyal gospel music followers already know—Gold City will forever be the standard of excellence for gospel quartets.
