Cut, Paste, and Collage

Are you sitting on a pile of materials that you’ve been dreaming of making into a collage? Do you hoard programs from plays or newspapers that have a cool cover? This is your sign to join the Freshkills Park Alliance at the FKPA Studio & Gallery to actualize your crafting dreams. Please feel free to bring any magazines or paper material to work with. We will have some material for you to use, scissors, tape, glue, and paper.

Appropriate materials include:

• Newspaper
• Magazines
• Receipts
• Colored paper
• Images from letters
• Drawings
• Anything else that inspires you!

Where: We will meet at the FKPA Studio & Gallery (2252 Richmond Ave.) in Staten Island which is next to the Freshkills office. Participants may park in the gravel parking lot of the building.

Weather: This program will not be canceled or postponed in case of heavy rain.

Donation: There is a $10 suggested donation per participant for this program. Your support allows us to increase access and education at Freshkills Park.
