As an artist, your work has many different audiences. This two-hour workshop focuses on the grant panel as audience, and how to write about your creative project in a way that is meaningful to a grant panel. This workshop considers the following questions:
- Who are grant panelists?
- How is writing for grant panelists different than writing for other audiences?
- How can I localize my creative project?
- What is the work that my creative project is doing, and how do I argue that?
This event is part of a series of professional development workshops called Artists in Residence (AIR) that will be provided for free and online. These workshops are meant to expanded learning opportunities for all local artmakers and cultural entrepreneurs. Learn more: https://bit.ly/AIRSeries
