Lunch with Author/Writer Lisa Cole

The next Readers & Writers luncheon and author/writer presentation will be held on Tuesday, November 18 from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm.

Our speaker will be Lisa Cole. Lisa Cole is the Chief Executive Officer of Literacy SC, an education nonprofit in Central South Carolina.

With an MBA and over two dozen years in the nonprofit sector, Lisa has led countless grassroots initiatives in change management, program development, community engagement, and strategic governance. She has served on six boards of directors (school, nonprofit, corporate), participated on over 40 committees, and worked on more than 300 policies that enhance educational equity at local and state levels.

Lisa is also an accomplished author and former founder of an indie publishing company that produced 12 books for local authors.

Whether you’re a reader, writer, or simply curious, this event offers a unique opportunity to support local literature and meet the people behind the pages. Everyone is welcome!

Guests are responsible for the cost of their own lunch.
