El Mantis is a Heavy Psychedelic Jazz band formed in 2021 in Houston Texas by Danny Kamins, Andrew Martinez, Angel Garcia. Jeremy Nuncio,Mark Medina Joined in 2024

Their music is described as a unique blend of genres, including heavy psychedelic jazz, with elements of free jazz, prog rock, salsa, and reggae dub. They have been noted for performing interpretations of works by jazz legends such as Albert Ayler and Eric Dolphy
