About the Workshop: This class is designed as an introductory welding experience. Over the course of this one day workshop participants will gain first hand exposure to a variety of welding processes.  Welding is an extremely versatile process that lends itself to a multitude of applications for garage or studio work. This class will cover safety, tools, welding processes as well as the basics of metal fabrication. Students will finish the class with the basic knowledge of how to weld steel in their garage, home or studio setting.  This course is designed for beginners with little to no welding exposure. Participants will be provided with metal for practicing welding, but are encouraged to bring steel items of their own to experiment with.  This is one day workshop and no experience required. Must be 16+.
