Emily’s health journey began in December when she was hospitalized with necrotizing inflammation of her lymph nodes. While in the hospital, doctors performed a lymph node biopsy, which led to the diagnosis of a rare condition called Kikuchi disease. As a Type 1 diabetic, these health challenges have been especially difficult and have taken a significant toll on her body and immune system.

During her recovery, Emily developed a serious foot infection that required hospitalization and ongoing treatment. She is currently unable to bear weight on her foot and has been unable to work while focusing on healing.

As a small business owner and mother, Emily is doing her best to navigate these challenges while continuing to care for her children and provide for her family. The inability to work, combined with ongoing medical expenses, has created a significant financial burden during this difficult time.

Any support, whether through donations, prayers, or words of encouragement, is deeply appreciated and will help ease the stress of everyday expenses while Emily focuses on healing and being there for her children.
