We will be watching “Zapatismo and Pluriversal Ontologies”, a presentation by Linda Quiquivix that explains four key ideas of the Zapatistas.

The Zapatistas are rural Indigenous people from south Mexico that have been resisting the greed and power of large corporations and governments for 40 years. They are an important living example of how local grassroots governance can create healthy, supportive communities and economies. Their writings have been inspirational worldwide, and many people adapt their lessons to their own local needs.
