It can be removed if it has to be.  You can cut it on the jump ring and save the chain for later.  Swap out holiday chains.  Or leave on for years like me.   They are waterproof, sweat proof and do not tarnish.   I have bracelets, anklets necklaces or rings .   Also open to ideas.   This jewelry is custom made for you?   The options are endless.
