Start 2026 on the right foot (and paw) with our New Year’s Day Dog Walk & Breakfast at South Causey Inn. There’s no better way to embrace the first day of the year than with a refreshing group walk through the stunning Beamish Woodlands, surrounded by fresh, crisp winter air, your loved ones, and of course, your four-legged friends.
Upon arrival, you’ll be welcomed with the warm scent of mulled wine and mince pies, served by our chief dog walker, who will guide the group as we set off at 10:00am for a scenic woodland adventure.
After the walk, join us back at the Durham Suite at 11:00am for a delicious Full English Breakfast, perfectly paired with croissants and jam, a fresh fruit and yoghurt selection, and unlimited tea and coffee to keep you cozy. Plus, we’ve prepared special gifts for your pooch, because they deserve a treat too!
