Hi everyone! Here is the full plan for our trip to Beamish Museum april . We are going to have a fantastic, relaxed day out.
🗓 Date: April
⏰ Time: 10: – 4:00pm (Winter Hours)
Note: The museum closes at 4pm in February, so we will meet nice and early at 10am to make the most of the day!
💰 Ticket Prices (Pay once, visit all year!)
The standard tickets are an "Unlimited Pass", meaning you pay once and can go back for free for a whole year!
Adult: £33.00
Senior (60+) / Student: £25.00
Child (5-16): £20.00
Under 5s: Free
🤝 Free Carer Tickets
If you have a disability and need someone to help you during your visit, your carer gets in for FREE.
If you already have a Beamish pass: You are sorted!
If you don't have a pass yet: You only need to pay for your own ticket; you do not need to buy a ticket for your helper.
🥪 Food & Drink: Two Options!
Option 1 (Save Money): Bring a packed lunch. 🥪 We will find a nice spot to eat our sandwiches together to keep costs down.
Option 2 (The Treat): Beamish is famous for its traditional Fish & Chips (cooked in beef dripping!). If you fancy a treat, they are delicious!
Approx. prices: Fish & Chips are around £12.00, or just a cone of chips is about £4.00.
♿ Accessibility & Scooters
We are taking it slow and easy—no rushing!
Mobility Scooters: You can hire scooters at the entrance for £12 (plus a deposit).
⚠️ IMPORTANT: These sell out fast! You must book them in advance.

From Sunderland: Bus 8 (Country Ranger).
