Any Book Club

Had a great discussion in today's Any Book Club.

We talked about how some books don't translate as well onto the big screen and also how after watching a film you might be inspired to read the book but struggle to get into it.

We discussed the books of Irina Shapiro (I'm obsessed by them) most recently I have enjoyed Haunted Ground. 5 ⭐️

The Redmond & Haze Mysteries (series of 18 books) 4.25 ⭐️
Tate & Bell Mysteries (seres of 8 books) 4 ⭐️

Also Between Sisters by Kristen Hannah 4.5 ⭐️

We also chatted about being sucked in by free books on Audible and Kindle, then feeling forced to buy shorter and shorter (and inferior) books in order to finish off the story. And how long do you give a book until you decide to not finish if you are not enjoying it.
